I know, I know........

I got a lot of flack about Brinley not wearing a life jacket on the boat. Today she wore one and she liked it. She enjoyed teething on it. When I get my camera charger replaced I'll show a cute picture. Right now I'm organizing my blog that I downloaded into blurb book. It's going to take forever to get it looking nice. I can't wait to get that done and order it.

Boating

This is my brother in law's new boat and we got the pleasure of riding in it today. Days like this remind me of why I love living in Washington. There are so many lakes to choose from and it's beautiful here. Here's Kerwin enjoying the first day out on the boat.

Brinley was in heaven the whole time too. She'd sleep when the engine was roaring. All my babies have loved boat rides. This boat was so smooth to ride in, which made it a great experience with a young baby. Ya, I know, I didn't put her life jacket on. It's funny that I made Carter wear one at this exact age. Shows how much you loosen up as a mom as time goes by.

Now we just need some hot weather around Seattle to really kick off the boat season. Thanks to the Sneed family for inviting us. We had a great time. Poor Brian was at work. This is the time when I'm glad I get to stay home.

Fun Pictures Today

Hanging out with the Alton kids today. My friend Mara has kids the exact same age as my kids. They happened to be all the opposite sex of each other. Spells trouble when they are all teenagers one day. I caught them holding hands. This is a rare moment. I'm happy I had my camera ready to go.

Brinley went in the swing the first time today. What a great idea Mara! She laughed and made cooing noises the whole time.

Tomorrow Brinley will be 4 months. With each baby time goes faster and faster. I can't believe she's going to be eating real food in August and crawling soon. I'm definitely enjoying every moment with her b/c she's my last baby.

I love this picture so much. Carter looks so much like his friend Hailey. Carter still can't believe she cut her hair short. He prefers her long hair....he's becoming picky already....oh no!

The Park!

If you want to ask anyone about parks around here you should ask me b/c we know them all very well. I love taking pictures of the boys at the park. I can't wait until Brinley is climbing around too. Brinley loves watching all the kids while she's in the Bjorn. She kicks her feet and coos constantly. Here's Carter with his girlfriend Aspen whom he met at school. Carter is trying to memorize her phone number today. Poor girl!

Family Update!

Yes, Brian is going to kill me for posting this picture but I think it's a funny one. Brian is still staying thin even tough I swear he eats whatever he wants. I'm trying to get back to normal. 10 pounds to go baby!! So you won't see any pictures of me until that's accomplished. Brian got a promotion and is going to be working in Seattle soon. Great because mo monay!! but not good b/c I swear we'll never see him!

Kyle is fully potty trained and does it all on his own. I never even have to remind him. Hooray!! I swear his confidence has been boosted b/c of it. He's been behaving so well since the new change.

This cute little girl is going to take a bottle this week whether she likes it or not!! Spoiled little girl. I need some nights out! I'm hoping for a miracle considering she gags so easily.

Carter finished soccer and is so excited he got another trophy. This season was so much fun and I can't wait for this fall. His team was pretty bad but they had no clue they were. They'd get creamed by every team and the kids would still be smiling and having a great time.

That's my update and I need to get this stinkin blog printed pronto. It's been two years of blogging and it's time to print it and start another one that looks way cooler.

Gotta Love this Girl!

This girl is pretty popular around here. Brinley doesn't get a moment to herself when she has two brothers that always want to play with her. I can't believe she's old enough for the saucer. Time goes so much faster with each kid. Brinley loves her saucer so much that after ten minutes of it she gets so tired b/c the excitement is so overwhelming.

Don't Carter and Brinley look so much alike? I kind of feel bad for Kyle that he doesn't look much like them. I'm always going to have to make sure Kyle feels special b/c he's the middle child.

Finally!!

Two days of no accidents and I think that means Kyle is potty trained. I better knock on wood. Watch, tomorrow I'll be wishing I didn't celebrate so fast. At 2 1/2 years old Carter was potty trained and there was no bribing involved or tricks used, it just happened and it was easy. With Kyle I tried everything possible and finally some of my tricks worked. Notice the bag of candy in his hand. That was one of my many tricks. Hooray for no diapers and saving $50 a month!
